How I Started
I’m Mandy Morroni, a self-taught painter specializing in bold abstract and vintage inspired landscapes using mixed media. My fascination with interior design and love of color and texture are central to my creative process. Whether it’s the use of earth tones or a bold splash of color, I believe that art can transform a space and evoke deep emotions, which is why it’s the heart of everything I create.
Where I Draw Inspiration
Living near Philadelphia with my husband and three children, I first discovered my love for creating contemporary abstract art during my years at home with the kids. I found myself exploring ways to bring vibrant colors and unique textures into our home, and what started as a personal project soon grew. Friends and family began requesting my pieces, and my work quickly became a part of their homes, offering them one-of-a-kind art for home decor.
How I Like to Spend Time
Today, I continue to find inspiration in everyday life—whether from a morning walk in nature, the texture of fabrics, or the way light plays in a room. These subtle details inspire my original abstract art, allowing me to connect deeply with my paintings. Through my work, I hope to bring a sense of beauty and joy to others, just as creating has done for me.
